Our latest 2025 Team Yamaha Blue YZF-R3 is our first fourth-generation R3 we've been tearing into, and we've found that just like the generations before it, it can greatly benefit from some bolt-on performance upgrades. Through an extensive research and testing process, we determined the most effective shapes for overall power increase using the natural resonant frequencies of the R3 and MT-03 intake to develop the greatest volumetric efficiency, resulting in a 3% peak power gain and up to 8% in the top-end before the rev limiter on a properly tuned engine when compared to the same bike using OEM velocity stacks.
